Brandwatch pricing: what buyers pay and cheaper tools
Brandwatch pricing is quote-only. What its pricing page says, what Vendr reports buyers pay, how to negotiate, and listening tools that publish prices.
Brandwatch does not publish its pricing. Its pricing page lists three products, says "standard to enterprise plans" are available for each, and asks you to book a demo. The best public guide is Vendr, which publishes price data based on real purchases: it reports a median of $50,000 a year across 40 Brandwatch purchases, ranging from $19,542 to $81,200. That is a ballpark, not a quote.
Brandwatch's pricing page was read on 4 October 2026 and showed no figures. Other prices on this page were read from each vendor's own pricing page the same day.
What Brandwatch sells
| Product | Who Brandwatch says it is for | Published price |
|---|---|---|
| Consumer Intelligence | Researchers and analysts | None, demo only |
| Social Media Management | Social media managers and content marketers | None, demo only |
| Influencer Marketing | Influencer marketers and agencies | None, demo only |
Consumer Intelligence is the listening and research product most people mean when they say Brandwatch. Social Media Management is a publishing and engagement suite. Influencer Marketing covers discovery, relationships and campaign reporting.

Brandwatch pricing: what buyers report
Vendr's Brandwatch page gives the only named public figures we could find:
| Measure | Reported by Vendr |
|---|---|
| Median spend | $50,000 a year |
| Low | $19,542 a year |
| High | $81,200 a year |
| Purchases in the sample | 40 |
| Average saving buyers achieved | 15% |
Two cautions. Forty purchases is a small sample, and it does not say which of the three products each buyer bought. A team buying only Social Media Management may sit well below the median, and a global research team well above it.
How to estimate your own number
Since Brandwatch says only that plans run from standard to enterprise, your scope decides the quote. Before the demo, write down:
- Which product. One, not the bundle the demo will show you.
- What you will track. Your brand, two or three competitors and a category term is a small brief. Fifty brands across ten markets is a large one.
- How far back. Ask what history is included and what more costs.
- Who needs a login. Count people who will use it weekly, not everyone who might like to look.
- What you would do with it. If you cannot name the decision the data feeds, you are not ready to buy at this price.
That one page also makes quotes from different vendors comparable.
How to negotiate a Brandwatch quote
This is general advice for buying quote-only software, not a description of Brandwatch's contracts.
- Get two competing quotes. Meltwater and Talkwalker are both quote-only too. See Meltwater pricing for what is reported there.
- Anchor with a published price. Showing the sales team what Brand24 or BuzzSumo charge for your core need is a fair reference point.
- Ask for the renewal terms in writing. Vendr's page suggests negotiating a cap on renewal increases.
- Start with the smallest scope that answers your question. Adding topics mid-contract is easier than removing them at renewal.
Listening tools with published prices
Read from each vendor's own page on 4 October 2026:
| Tool | Entry price | What you get at entry |
|---|---|---|
| Brand24 | $199 a month annual, $249 monthly | 3 keywords, 2,000 mentions a month, 1 user |
| BuzzSumo | $159 a month annual, $199 monthly | Content and creator research, 2 alerts, 1 user |
| Hootsuite | $99 per user a month annual | Scheduling plus basic social listening |
| Talkwalker Alerts | Free | Email alerts on news, blogs and forums |
| Google Alerts | Free | Email alerts on new Google results |
Brand24 is the closest published-price substitute for mention tracking; see Brand24 pricing. The social listening tools roundup compares the paid options, and the free social listening tools cover the rest. The Brandwatch alternatives page goes further.
Figo is not a listening tool and has no sentiment analysis. It does flag Reddit threads that mention a business and report competitors' Instagram and Facebook posts each Monday, alongside their ads and pages, at $49 a month for three competitors. Ours, so judge accordingly. If you need listening across the web, buy a listening tool.
Who Brandwatch is worth it for
Brandwatch makes sense for research and insight teams who analyse large volumes of conversation and present it to the business. For a marketing team that wants to know when it or a rival gets mentioned, the reported prices are several times what the job needs.
Questions people ask
Does Brandwatch have a free trial?
The pricing page offers a free demo, not a trial, and lists no free plan. You see the product with a salesperson before you get a price.
Is Brandwatch worth it for a small business?
Rarely. Vendr's reported median is $50,000 a year. A business with a few hundred mentions a month gets the core job done by a published-price tool from about $199 a month.
What is the cheapest alternative to Brandwatch?
For mention tracking with sentiment, Brand24 starts at $199 a month on annual billing. For news and blog alerts only, Google Alerts and Talkwalker Alerts cost nothing.
Can I buy just one Brandwatch product?
Yes. The pricing page lists Consumer Intelligence, Social Media Management and Influencer Marketing as separate solutions, each with its own standard to enterprise plans.
