Brand24 pricing: every plan, limit and hidden cost

Brand24 pricing starts at $199 a month billed annually, or $249 if you pay month to month, for one user and three keywords. The top published plan, Business, is $599 a month annually or $699 monthly, and Enterprise starts at $1,499 a month. There is no free plan, but there is a 14 day free trial with no credit card.

Brand24 pricing at a glance

The page advertises "up to 3 months free" on annual billing. On its own figures, paying yearly saves $600 a year on Individual and Team and $1,200 a year on Pro and Business. Enterprise is billed annually only.

What each plan really limits

The headline numbers are keywords and mentions, but the plan you end up on is usually decided by something else.

Keywords. Brand24 counts each phrase you monitor. Three keywords is your brand name, one product name and one competitor. Add a second competitor and you are on Team.

Users. Individual is one login. The moment a second person needs access, the cheapest option is Team at $299 a month annually, which is $100 a month more than Individual.

Update speed. Individual refreshes every 12 hours and Team every hour. Real-time updates start on Pro. Twelve hours is fine for a weekly review. It is too slow if you need to catch an angry thread before it spreads.

AI features. Sentiment analysis is on every plan. AI Insights and AI Topics start on Pro, limited to two projects, and Business raises AI Insights to five projects. Smart Context Search is a paid add-on on Pro and Business and included on Enterprise.

Support. Chat support starts on Team. Priority support starts on Pro, and Business adds a named client success lead.

Brand24 lists Facebook, Instagram, X, news, blogs, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, reviews, podcasts and newsletters among its sources. Its comparison table did not make clear which sources sit on which plan, so check that during the trial if one network matters to you.

Costs that are not in the headline price

API access is "available at an additional fee $149". The page does not say whether that is per month.

Add-ons. Smart Context Search and the AI Visibility module are sold as add-ons below Enterprise, and neither shows a price.

Running out of keywords. For a small brand, keywords tend to run out before mentions do. Going from three to seven keywords costs $100 a month more on annual billing.

Monthly billing. The headline prices are annual. If you are not sure the tool will stick, budget for the monthly price for the first few months, which is $50 to $100 a month more.

Free trial, refunds and the free plan question

There is no free plan. The trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. After paying, the pricing page offers a 30 day money-back guarantee, which excludes custom plans and deals negotiated with sales.

Use the trial properly. Set up your real keywords on day one, because the trial is the only time you see your actual mention volume before you pay for a tier. If you collect 300 mentions in two weeks, Individual's 2,000 a month is plenty. If you hit 2,000 in the first week, you know you need Team or Pro.

What a small team actually needs

Say you run a three-person agency or a single-location business with one brand and two rivals worth watching. Your realistic choice is between Individual and Team.

• One person, low mention volume, weekly review: Individual at $199 a month annually. The 12 hour refresh does not matter if you read the dashboard on Mondays.
• Two or more people, or four or more phrases: Team at $299 a month annually. Unlimited users makes it the better value for any team.
• Pro and above make sense when you need real-time alerts for reputation work, or you manage several brands.

If your brand gets a handful of mentions a week, even Individual is a lot of money for what it finds. That is the honest case for starting free.

Cheaper ways to do the same job

Awario is the closest like-for-like at a lower price. Its Starter plan gives three topics and 30,000 new mentions a month, against Brand24 Individual's 2,000. Brand24 lists more source types (TikTok, podcasts, reviews and newsletters among them) and more AI features, so the trade is breadth for volume.

One more distinction. If you looked at Brand24 to keep an eye on two or three competitors, listening is the long way round. Figo, ours, is $49 a month for three competitors and reports their new ads, new pages, pricing changes, rankings, social posts and reviews in a Monday briefing. It does no listening or sentiment, so it does not replace Brand24 for your own mentions.

The short verdict

Brand24 is fairly priced for a business that people genuinely talk about online. Pick Team over Individual as soon as two people need it, because unlimited users is where the value is. If your mention volume is low, run free alerts for a month first. If they keep missing things you needed, the trial will show you which Brand24 tier fits.
