The best Brandwatch alternatives in 2026

Brandwatch is quote only and built for analysts. These Brandwatch alternatives run from enterprise listening to tools with published prices, checked today.

Brandwatch does not publish prices, and its listening product is built for researchers and analysts who write detailed queries and work through large volumes of conversation. Brandwatch alternatives fall into two groups: other enterprise platforms that also sell by quote, and tools with prices on the page for teams that need less.

Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026. Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Sprinklr and Mention published none.

Why people look for Brandwatch alternatives

No price until the demo. The pricing page names three products, Consumer Intelligence for researchers and analysts, Social Media Management, and Influencer Marketing, then asks you to book a demo. No plan names, limits or billing terms.

More capacity than the job needs. A team that wants to know when its brand is mentioned does not need a research platform. The query building, history and dashboards that make Brandwatch valuable to an insights team are overhead for two marketers.

The fair side: for consumer research across large volumes of conversation, Brandwatch is one of the most capable tools on the market. It is now part of Cision, which also owns CisionOne and PR Newswire. Teams that use Brandwatch properly rarely find a like for like swap that costs much less.

Talkwalker, the closest like for like

Talkwalker sells three plans, Core, Analyze and Business, scaled by volume of non-sampled results (Analyze gives twice Core's volume, Business six times). All three include unlimited users, and all are quote only. Hootsuite bought Talkwalker in April 2024 and now also sells it as Hootsuite Listening powered by Talkwalker. More in Talkwalker alternatives.

Pick Talkwalker if you need enterprise listening for a large team and want unlimited users written into the plan.

Meltwater, if press coverage matters as much as social

Meltwater lists Starter, Pro, Enterprise and Agency plans with tailored pricing. Its page says contracts are typically 12 months, prices depend on users, sources, regions and data volume, and setup fees may apply for complex implementations. Compare it in Meltwater alternatives.

Pick Meltwater if your listening sits inside a PR team that also needs media monitoring.

Sprinklr, if listening is one part of a bigger programme

Sprinklr publishes no current price. Its /pricing address returned a 404 when we checked, and the route to a number is a demo. It sells four suites covering 33 products, of which listening is one.

Pick Sprinklr if you are an enterprise putting customer care, marketing and listening on one platform.

Brand24, the cheaper-than-Brandwatch option

Brand24 publishes every tier. Individual is $199 a month billed annually ($249 monthly) for three keywords, 2,000 mentions a month and one user. Team is $299 annually ($349 monthly) for seven keywords, 10,000 mentions and unlimited users. Pro is $399 annually ($499 monthly) for 12 keywords and 40,000 mentions. The trial is 14 days with no card.

It works by keyword and caps mentions per month, so it suits brand and campaign monitoring rather than open-ended consumer research. Mention, now owned by Agorapulse, sells a single Company plan through a demo with no price shown.

Pick Brand24 if you want listening this month without a procurement process.

Listening inside Hootsuite or Sprout Social

Hootsuite Standard, at $99 per user a month billed annually, includes social listening. Professional, at $199, adds a quick search across 30 days of conversations, and advanced listening with 13 months of history is Enterprise only. Sprout Social sells Listening as an add-on to Standard and above, with no price shown.

Pick one of these if you already publish from them and listening is a side task.

Free: Talkwalker Alerts and F5Bot

Talkwalker Alerts is free and emails news, blog, forum and Twitter results in 22 languages, as often as they happen. F5Bot emails Reddit, Hacker News and Lobsters mentions for free, with paid tiers at $9.99 and $49.99 a month on monthly billing. Neither does analysis, but together they catch a lot. Pick these if you are not sure listening is worth paying for yet.

Where Figo fits, and where it does not

Ours, so judge accordingly. Figo is not a listening tool. It has no sentiment, no share of voice in conversation and no coverage of X or TikTok conversation.

It does one listening-adjacent thing: it finds Reddit threads that mention each tracked competitor, with a language model filtering out threads that are not really about them. The rest of its weekly briefing is about what competitors do, not what people say: new pages, pricing, ads on Google, Meta and TikTok, Instagram and Facebook posts, rankings and reviews. If your Brandwatch dashboards were mostly answering what are our competitors up to, that is a $49 a month job. If they answer what do customers think, stay with listening. The difference is explained in social listening vs social monitoring.

When Brandwatch is the right answer

  • You run consumer research, not alerts. Category conversation, audiences and trends over time.
  • Analysts build the queries. The tool rewards people who know how to use it.
  • You already buy from Cision. One supplier for PR and listening can simplify procurement.

The little Brandwatch says about price is gathered in Brandwatch pricing.

The short answer

For enterprise listening at Brandwatch's level, Talkwalker is the closest swap and Meltwater suits PR-led teams. For listening with a price you can read today, Brand24. For free, Talkwalker Alerts plus F5Bot. If an insights team uses Brandwatch every day, keep it.
