Serpstat pricing starts at $50 a month for the Individual plan and runs through Team at $100, Team x2 at $169 and Agency at $410, all on monthly billing. Annual billing is cheaper, "up to 27%" according to the page, which shows the yearly saving rather than an annual price. There is no free plan, only a 7 day trial that needs a card.

Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026. Serpstat's is at serpstat.com/page/pricing-plans.

Serpstat pricing at a glance

PlanMonthly billingSaving on annual billingUsersSearches a dayAPI
Individual$50$228 a year1100No
Team$100$348 a year3500Yes
Team x2 (new)$169$484 a year61,000Yes
Agency$410$1,068 a year305,000Yes

The page does not print an annual price. On our arithmetic (twelve monthly payments minus the stated saving), a year costs $372 on Individual, $852 on Team, $1,544 on Team x2 and $3,852 on Agency. That is roughly $31, $71, $129 and $321 a month. Confirm the figure at checkout, since it is our sum, not Serpstat's.

What each plan limits

Searches per day are likely to be the first limit you feel. 100 a day on Individual is enough for one person doing keyword and competitor research most days. Heavy research sessions or several people sharing a login will hit it.

Rank tracking is counted in position checks. Serpstat sells a monthly pool rather than a keyword count, so how far it stretches depends on how many keywords you track and how often. Test it against your real keyword list during the trial.

Users often decide the upgrade. Individual has no multi-user access at all. Team includes three people, Team x2 six and Agency thirty, and no per-seat price is shown, so a fourth person means Team x2.

API and MCP start on Team. If you want Serpstat data in your own reports or an AI assistant, Individual will not do.

Agency adds white label reports and 30 users, for $410 a month against $169 for Team x2.

The trial and its catch

The trial lasts 7 days and gives access to the Individual or Team plan. It needs a card: Serpstat charges $1 to verify it and refunds that within 5 to 30 minutes. After 7 days the trial renews into a paid plan unless you cancel.

Put a cancellation reminder in your calendar for day six the moment you sign up. Then use the week properly: run your own domain and two competitors, set up rank tracking on your real keyword list, and see how fast you burn through daily searches.

Hidden costs

Extra seats. There is no per-seat add-on on the page, so growing from three to four users means moving from Team ($100) to Team x2 ($169).

LLM Brand Monitor. Serpstat promotes a separate tool for tracking brand mentions in AI answers, with no price on the pricing page. It is not part of these plans.

Monthly billing. On Team, paying monthly costs $348 a year more than paying annually. Worth it for a first month, not as a habit.

What a small team actually needs

Say you are an in-house marketer at a small company, with one site and three competitors to watch.

  • One person: Individual at $50 a month covers keyword research, competitor analysis and a modest rank tracking list.
  • Two or three people, or you want the API: Team at $100 a month, about $71 a month on annual billing by our arithmetic. This is Serpstat's sweet spot.
  • Agencies: Team x2 until you need white label reports, then Agency.

How Serpstat compares on price

ToolEntry priceUsers includedNotes
Serpstat Individual$50 a month1API from Team ($100, 3 users)
Semrush SEO$139 a month, $117.33 annually1Extra users from $45 a month
SE Ranking Core$129 a month, $103.20 annually1Extra seats from $16
Mangools Basic€61 a month, €37.70 annually1No extra seats on Basic
Ubersuggest Individual$29 a month in the US1Prices vary by country

Serpstat's strength is seats and API access for the money. Team at $100 with three logins and an API undercuts the big suites; on Semrush a second user alone costs from $45 a month. The trade-off is depth: Semrush covers more toolkits. The details are in Semrush pricing and the Serpstat vs Semrush comparison.

If budget matters more than seats, Ubersuggest is cheaper for one person, and Mangools pricing shows a simpler toolset at a similar price. Our Serpstat alternatives page and the list of SEO competitor analysis tools cover the rest.

Verdict

Serpstat is good value, especially for small teams. Individual suits one person; Team is the plan most small teams should look at, because three users and an API for $100 a month is hard to match. Diarise the trial's end date, and switch to annual once you know you will keep it.
