The best Serpstat alternatives in 2026

Serpstat runs $50 to $410 a month on monthly billing and is already good value. Here are the Serpstat alternatives worth switching to, and who each one suits.

Serpstat is already one of the better-value SEO suites, so the best Serpstat alternatives are about a different strength rather than a lower price: a bigger name's data, better rank tracking, a simpler tool for one person, or competitor history. Here are the options and what each costs.

Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026.

Serpstat's plans, and where they pinch

PlanBilled monthlyUsersSearches per dayAPI
Individual$501100No
Team$1003500Yes
Team x2$16961,000Yes
Agency$410305,000Yes

The page shows annual billing only as a saving: $228 a year on Individual, $348 on Team, $484 on Team x2 and $1,068 on Agency. Agency adds white label reports.

The reasons people look elsewhere are fairly specific.

Individual is a single seat with no API. The jump to Team doubles the price.

Daily search caps. 100 searches a day on Individual is enough for maintenance, not for a big research project.

The trial needs a card and renews itself. It is a $1 verification, refunded, but the plan bills after 7 days unless you cancel. Put a reminder in the calendar.

Client perception. Some clients and bosses expect to see a bigger brand's numbers in reports. That is not a data argument, but it is a real one in agency pitches.

The fair side: Team at $100 a month with three users, API access and MCP is hard to match. Semrush lists API data integration on its $549 Advanced plan. If seats and an API are what you need, Serpstat is the cheap way to get them.

Semrush, for depth

The SEO plan is $139 a month billed monthly or $117.33 annually, for five websites and 500 keywords tracked daily. Extra users start at $45 a month, and other jobs such as advertising, content and local are separate toolkits. A free plan gives 10 reports a day. The full comparison is in Serpstat vs Semrush.

Pick Semrush if you want the deepest single suite and the budget covers it, seats included.

SE Ranking, for tracking and agency reporting

Core is $129 a month billed monthly or $103.20 annually: 10 projects, one seat, 2,000 keywords tracked daily and a site audit of up to 250,000 pages a month. Growth is $279 monthly or $223.20 annually with three seats. Extra seats start at $16, and an Agency Pack add-on is $69 a month on annual billing. The trial is 14 days with no card. Our SE Ranking alternatives page looks at it from the other side.

Pick SE Ranking if rank tracking at volume and client reporting matter more than Serpstat's research tools.

Ahrefs, for links

Lite is $129 a month on monthly billing for five projects and 750 tracked keywords, with extra users from $40 a month. Content Explorer starts on Standard at $249. Rather than a trial, Ahrefs points you to its free tier for your own site.

Pick Ahrefs if backlinks are central to the work and you will pay for the best index.

SpyFu, for a competitor's history

Basic is $39 a month billed monthly or $29 annually, without historical data. Pro + AI is $119 a month after a $59 first month, or $89 annually, and shows 10+ years of a competitor's organic and paid keywords. Extra users are $30 each on Pro + AI.

Pick SpyFu if your questions are about what a competitor did over time, especially in paid search.

Mangools and Ubersuggest, for one person

Mangools Basic is €37.70 a month billed annually (euros on the page), with a 48 hour money-back guarantee. Ubersuggest Individual was $16 a month billed annually under a limited-time offer when we checked, with one project. Both are simpler and both are single-seat at the entry level.

Pick one of these if you are a solo marketer who used a fraction of Serpstat. Mangools alternatives compares the budget end in more detail.

What Figo does not replace

Ours, so judge accordingly. Figo is not an SEO suite. It has no keyword research, no site audit, no backlinks and no public API, so it does not replace Serpstat for SEO work.

What it does overlap with is the competitor-watching corner. Figo checks each competitor's Google keyword positions and estimated organic traffic every week, alongside their new pages, ads on Google, Meta and TikTok, pricing and reviews, and writes it up in a Monday briefing. $49 a month for three competitors, $99 for eight, $249 for twenty across five client workspaces.

When Serpstat is the right answer

  • You need several logins on a small budget. Team gives three seats for $100; Agency gives 30 for $410.
  • You pull data through an API. It starts on the $100 plan, not the top tier.
  • You report to clients from it. Agency includes white label reports.

Plan details and the annual savings are in Serpstat pricing.

The short answer

Serpstat is rarely the expensive choice. Move to Semrush for depth, SE Ranking for rank tracking and reporting, Ahrefs for links, SpyFu for competitor history, or Mangools if you are one person who needs less. If cheap seats and an API are the point, stay.

Questions people ask

Does Serpstat have a free trial?

Yes, 7 days on the Individual or Team plan. It takes a $1 card verification charge, refunded within minutes, and the subscription renews automatically after 7 days unless you cancel.

How much does Serpstat cost per year?

Serpstat shows monthly prices and the annual saving rather than an annual price. Individual is $50 a month and the page says annual billing saves $228 a year; the banner says annual saves up to 27%.

Which Serpstat plan has an API?

Team and above. Individual has no API and no extra users; Team at $100 a month includes three users, API access and an MCP connection.

Is Serpstat better than Semrush?

Not overall, but it is far cheaper per seat. Semrush has more depth and more toolkits; Serpstat gives a team of three logins and an API for $100 a month.
