Kompyte pricing is not published. Its plans page lists three tiers, Essentials, Professional and Unlimited, with their limits but no figures, and asks you to "Request a Breakdown". Kompyte has been owned by Semrush since 2022, and paying Semrush customers are eligible for a Kompyte discount.

Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026. Kompyte's page is at kompyte.com/plans (the /pricing address returns a 404).

What the limits tell you about the price

Even without figures, the table shows how Kompyte sizes a deal.

Companies tracked looks like the main lever. Seats are generous from the start, 25 on Essentials, so for most teams the jump from 10 to 20 tracked companies is what moves them up a plan.

URLs per company decide depth. 50 URLs per rival on Essentials covers their pricing page, product pages and main blog sections. You only need 100 or 150 if you track large sites page by page.

Mentions are flat. All three plans include 20,000 mentions a month, so listening volume does not drive the price.

Everyone gets a customer success manager. That is a sign of a sales-led contract rather than a cheap self-serve tool. Budget accordingly.

What to expect it to cost

There is no public figure for Kompyte. Vendr, which publishes prices from software purchases it has seen, has a Kompyte page but showed no price on it when we checked.

For context only, Vendr reports a median of $30,000 a year for each of Kompyte's two closest rivals, Klue and Crayon. That is not Kompyte's price, and Kompyte's generous user allowances may put it somewhere else entirely. It does tell you the category: competitive enablement platforms are usually annual, sales-led purchases measured in thousands of dollars, not tens. Our Klue pricing page covers what Vendr says about how these contracts are structured.

How to get a fair Kompyte quote

  1. Ask for the breakdown in writing. Kompyte's own call to action is "Request a Breakdown". Take it literally and ask for every line: licences, plan, onboarding, integrations and term.
  2. Claim the Semrush discount. If you already pay for Semrush, say so on the first call. Semrush's knowledge base says paying subscribers are eligible.
  3. Count your competitors honestly. Ten is a lot. If you have six real rivals, Essentials is enough, and so are much cheaper tools.
  4. Count URLs, not just companies. List the pages you actually need watched per rival. If it is under 50, do not let a URL argument push you up a tier.
  5. Get a competing quote. Klue sells the same category. A rival quote on the table is the best discount you will find.
  6. Watch the term. Ask for a one-year first contract and a written cap on renewal increases.

Who Kompyte is for

Kompyte combines automated competitor tracking with sales enablement. The tracking feeds battlecards and reports that sales teams use in deals. It makes sense for a B2B company with a sales team, a product marketer to own the content, and enough competitors to justify a platform.

It is heavy for a marketer who only wants to know what rivals changed. The Klue vs Kompyte comparison covers the enablement choice, and the Kompyte alternatives page covers the lighter options.

Alternatives with published prices

Semrush Traffic & Market$289 a month billed annuallyCompetitor traffic, channels, alerts, up to 100 competitors

VisualpingFree for 5 pages, then $10 a month annuallyPage changes
Owler Pro$39 a month billed annuallyCompany news and profiles

Semrush's own Traffic & Market toolkit includes competitor alerts, which is worth checking if you already use Semrush and mainly want to know when rivals' traffic and channels move.

Figo, ours, sits at the marketing end of this job. It checks each competitor weekly and reports new ads on Google, Meta and TikTok, new pages and blog posts, pricing changes, rankings, social posts and reviews in a Monday briefing. It is $49 a month for 3 competitors, $99 for 8 and $249 for 20 across 5 client workspaces. It is not an enablement platform and has nothing built for reps, so if sales enablement is the job, stay with Kompyte or Klue. Our Figo vs Kompyte page sets out the split.

Verdict

Kompyte is a sales-led competitive enablement platform with a generous seat count and no public price. If you have a sales team to arm, request the breakdown, claim any Semrush discount and bring a competing quote. If you mainly want to know what competitors changed, a published-price tool will do that at a price you can see before you talk to anyone.

Questions people ask

Is Kompyte part of Semrush?

Yes. Semrush announced it would acquire Kompyte in February 2022, and Semrush's own knowledge base now documents it. Kompyte still sells through its own website.

Is Kompyte included in a Semrush subscription?

No. It is not sold as a Semrush plan, but Semrush's help pages say customers with a paid Semrush subscription are eligible for a Kompyte discount.

Does Kompyte have a free trial?

The plans page does not mention one. It offers a tour of the platform and a price breakdown on request.

How many users does Kompyte allow?

25 licences on Essentials, 100 on Professional and unlimited on the top plan, so most teams choose a plan by how many competitors they track rather than by seats.
