Klue vs Kompyte: features, plans and pricing
Klue vs Kompyte compared: Semrush-owned Kompyte publishes plan limits, Klue leads on win-loss and deal support. Features, reported prices and who suits which.
Klue vs Kompyte is a choice between two competitive enablement platforms that tackle the same problem from different ends. Kompyte, owned by Semrush since an acquisition announced in February 2022, leans on automated tracking of competitor websites, ads, reviews, social media and job postings, summarised by AI, and it publishes what each plan includes. Klue leans on the sales side: answers for reps in Slack and Salesforce, and a win-loss practice with interviews run by its own analysts. Both build battlecards. Neither publishes a price.
Both pricing pages were read on 4 October 2026. Neither shows a price; Kompyte shows plan limits.

Kompyte's plans and what they allow
| Plan | Companies tracked | User licences | URLs per company | Keywords |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | 10 | 25 | 50 | 25 |
| Professional | 20 | 100 | 100 | 100 |
| Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | 150 | 200 |
Every plan includes 20,000 mentions a month, automations, integrations, personalised onboarding and a dedicated customer success manager. Single sign-on is listed on Unlimited. Semrush's knowledge base says Semrush users with a paid subscription are eligible for a Kompyte discount. More on Kompyte pricing.
Two limits are worth checking against your list before a call. Ten companies is the Essentials ceiling, so an eleventh competitor means Professional. And the plans count keywords separately (25 on Essentials), so ask what a keyword is used for in Kompyte and whether 25 covers your categories.
Klue's pricing
Klue publishes no plans and no prices; its pricing page leads to a demo. Vendr reports a median of $30,000 a year across 106 purchases in the past 12 months, with a range of $16,000 to $60,000 (Vendr's Klue page). Those are buyers' reported contracts, not Klue's list price. See Klue pricing.
Where Klue is stronger
Win-loss with the buyer's voice. Klue sells interviews designed and conducted by its analyst team, an AI interviewer that runs short voice conversations with buyers and sellers, and "Blindspot" interviews with buyers from evaluations you never knew you were in. Kompyte's homepage describes its win-loss in numbers: competitive revenue, competitor frequency and win rates. Numbers show where you lose; interviews are how you find out why.
Answers inside the sales workflow. Klue answers reps' competitive questions in Slack and Salesforce and sends deal-specific tips by email. If reps ignoring competitive content is your bottleneck, that is the feature to test hardest in a pilot.
Stories from closed deals. Its Win & Loss Story Agent generates a summary from CRM data and call recordings the moment a deal closes, so nobody has to write it up by hand.
Where Kompyte is stronger
Automated capture. Kompyte watches competitor websites, ads, reviews, content, social media and job postings. Its AI Daily Summaries are pitched as cutting the work to "about an hour a week" for dozens of competitors.
Scope you can see before a call. Published plan limits make it easier to size and to compare quotes.
More places to send intel. HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive and OneDrive are named alongside Salesforce and Slack.
The Semrush tie. A discount for existing paying Semrush customers, per Semrush's knowledge base.
Klue vs Kompyte: pick one
Pick Klue if your problem is losing deals without knowing why, you want win-loss interviews run for you, and your reps live in Salesforce and Slack.
Pick Kompyte if you want tracking to run with little curation, you already pay for Semrush, you use HubSpot or Teams, or you want to see plan limits before talking to sales.
Add Crayon to the shortlist if the widest capture of competitor activity matters most. Crayon vs Klue compares those two directly.
How to run a fair pilot
A demo runs on examples the vendor picked. A pilot should run on yours.
- Use the same three competitors in both, including one that changes things often.
- Count what was worth forwarding. At the end of each week, tally how many alerts or summaries you would actually have sent to sales. That is the real signal-to-noise figure.
- Time the curation. Note how long someone on your side spent cleaning up each week, since that cost lands on your team, not the vendor's.
- Put one battlecard in front of reps and check whether they opened it without being asked.
When neither fits
If nobody owns competitive intelligence and there is no sales team to enable, both are more platform than you need. Start with win-loss analysis without a research budget and a simple monthly tracking routine, and look at Kompyte alternatives for lighter tools.
If knowing what named competitors changed each week is the job, Figo sends a Monday briefing on their ads, pages, pricing and reviews, from $49 a month with prices on the page. Ours, so judge accordingly: it has no battlecards and no CRM integration, and it does not replace either platform. Figo vs Kompyte compares the two directly.
Questions people ask
Is Kompyte part of Semrush?
Yes. Semrush announced it would acquire Kompyte on 28 February 2022, and Semrush's knowledge base offers paying Semrush customers a Kompyte discount. Kompyte still runs its own site and plans rather than appearing as a Semrush subscription tier.
Does Kompyte have a free trial?
Its plans page shows no trial and no free plan. The site has a Get Started button that leads to registration, but it does not say how long any trial lasts.
How much does Kompyte cost?
Kompyte lists three plans, Essentials, Professional and Unlimited, by what they include, with no prices. You get a figure through sales.
Which needs less work to run?
Kompyte pitches AI daily summaries that cut tracking dozens of competitors to about an hour a week; Klue pitches a Compete Agent that collects and curates for you. Both still need someone to own the battlecards and check what goes to sales.
