The best Kompyte alternatives in 2026

Kompyte is Semrush's competitive intelligence arm and prices on request. Here are the alternatives, what they cost today, and which one matches the job you actually have.

Kompyte's pitch is automation: point it at competitors and it captures their site changes, content, ads and messaging without a human doing the rounds. Semrush acquired it, and it now sits in the competitive intelligence part of their portfolio rather than in the standard subscription.

Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 19 September 2026. Kompyte published none.

The automation trap

Every tool in this category promises to capture everything. The failure mode is identical across all of them: the tool works, the alerts arrive, and within six weeks nobody reads them.

Capture is the easy half. Deciding what matters and what to do about it is the half that decides whether the subscription survives renewal.

Whatever you shortlist, ask the same question in the demo: show me what lands in my inbox on a normal Tuesday, not the highlight reel.

Crayon and Klue

Both are the enterprise answer and both are quote only. Pick them when the audience is a sales team. See the Crayon and Klue pages for the detail.

Visualping, if the scope is small

Free tier, then roughly $14, $50, $100 and $250 a month tiers, with a Business plan at $100 a month or $1,200 a year and larger annual plans above that.

Visualping does one thing properly: it watches URLs you nominate and shows you a visual diff when they change. If you can list the ten pages that matter, this is cheaper and simpler than anything else here.

Pick Visualping if the job is ten pages, not ten competitors.

Competitors App, at the budget end

$14.90 a month for Business AI, $19.90 for Business Plus AI, LinkedIn add-on $6.95 per competitor per month, extra users $14.95 a month.

Broader than Visualping, much cheaper than the enterprise tools, and light on interpretation.

Figo, for the decision rather than the feed

Ours, so read it with that in mind.

Figo checks nine channels per competitor once a week rather than firing alerts continuously, which is a deliberate choice: a weekly briefing gets read and a constant feed does not. Rankings and traffic, new pages, blog posts, Google, Meta and TikTok ads, Instagram, Facebook and Reddit mentions, reviews and published pricing, written up in plain sentences with your numbers next to theirs and one thing to do.

It also asks the four main AI assistants the questions your buyers ask and records who gets named.

$49 a month for three competitors, $99 for eight, $249 for twenty across five client workspaces.

Pick Figo if alert fatigue is the reason your last attempt at this failed.

When Kompyte is the right answer

  • You are already a Semrush enterprise customer and want one vendor.
  • You need enablement and automation in one platform.
  • You have somebody to own it. These platforms reward an owner and punish neglect.

The short answer

If you want automation with an enterprise wrapper, Kompyte, Crayon and Klue are the shortlist, and you will be doing a sales cycle. If you want the answer in your inbox on Monday without a procurement process, the self serve end of the market is where to look.

Questions people ask

How much does Kompyte cost?

Kompyte does not publish pricing and routes buyers through Semrush's sales team. Expect a mid market competitive intelligence price rather than a self serve one.

Is Kompyte included with Semrush?

No. Semrush acquired Kompyte, but it is sold separately and is not part of a standard Semrush subscription.

What tracks competitor ads automatically?

The ad libraries run by Google, Meta and TikTok are free and public. Tools that watch them for you and alert on changes are rarer than you would expect; Figo is built around exactly that.

Do I need automation or analysis?

Automation collects. Analysis decides. Most teams have too much of the first and none of the second, which is why alert fatigue kills these programmes.
