Mangools is one of the cheapest proper SEO toolsets, so most Mangools alternatives are not about saving money. People move for higher daily limits, daily rank tracking, room for a team, or depth Mangools does not have. Here is what each option costs and who it suits.

Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026. Mangools showed us euro prices only.

Where Mangools pinches

PlanBilled annuallyKeyword lookups per 24 hoursRank trackingExtra seats
Basic€37.70/mo (€452.40/yr)100200 keywords, weeklyNone
Premium€52.70/mo (€632.40/yr)500700 keywords, weeklyUp to 3
Agency€97.70/mo (€1,172.40/yr)1,2001,500 keywords, dailyUp to 5

The page we read showed annual billing. The monthly price was only implied, not stated, so we have left it out.

Daily lookup caps. 100 keyword lookups a day on Basic sounds generous until you run a proper research session for a new site and hit the wall by lunchtime.

Weekly rankings. Basic and Premium update tracked keywords weekly. Daily updates only come with Agency.

Seats. Basic allows no extra seats at all, and the page does not show what an extra seat costs on the higher plans.

The fair part: KWFinder is quick to read, the difficulty score is easy to explain to a client, and every plan now bundles AI Search Watcher PRO plus API and MCP access. For one person working on a few sites, it is hard to beat at the price.

Ubersuggest, if price is all that matters

On the day we checked, Ubersuggest's Individual plan was $16 a month billed annually ($192 a year) under a limited-time offer, for one project, 125 tracked keywords, 150 searches a day and one user. Business was $27.17 a month billed annually with two users and seven projects. There is a free account, and a 7 day trial on monthly plans. The trade-offs are in Ubersuggest alternatives.

Pick Ubersuggest if you want the lowest bill and one project is enough.

Serpstat, if you need more than one login

Serpstat Individual is $50 a month on monthly billing for five projects and 100 searches a day. Team is $100 a month with three users, unlimited projects, 500 searches a day and API access. The 7 day trial takes a $1 card verification and renews automatically unless you cancel.

Pick Serpstat if you are a small team that has outgrown Mangools Basic's single seat.

SE Ranking, if daily tracking is why you would upgrade

SE Ranking Core is $129 a month billed monthly or $103.20 billed annually, with 10 projects and 2,000 keywords tracked daily. Compare that with Mangools Agency at €97.70 a month billed annually for 1,500 daily keywords. The prices are close, and SE Ranking tracks more keywords and adds a site audit of up to 250,000 pages a month. The trial is 14 days with no card.

Pick SE Ranking if the only reason you were eyeing Mangools Agency was daily rank updates.

Semrush, if you have outgrown simple

Semrush's SEO plan is $139 a month billed monthly or $117.33 annually, for five websites and 500 keywords tracked daily. It is roughly three times the price of Mangools Basic and much deeper. The free plan's 10 reports a day is a fair test. See Mangools vs Semrush for the side by side.

Pick Semrush if keyword research has turned into full-time SEO work with audits, tracking and content planning.

Ahrefs, if links matter

Ahrefs Lite is $129 a month on monthly billing for five projects and 750 tracked keywords, with extra users at $40 a month each. A $29 Starter plan is also listed, but its limits are not on the pricing page, so check them before buying. Mangools' LinkMiner is a light backlink tool; Ahrefs is the heavy one.

Pick Ahrefs if link building or competitor link research is a regular part of the job.

The free option

Google Keyword Planner is free inside a Google Ads account. It gives search volume estimates and no difficulty score, which is enough for checking demand on a short list. Pair it with Google Search Console for your own site's positions. The competitor keyword research guide shows how much of a rival's targeting you can read from their sitemap and your own Search Console before paying for anything.

What Figo does not replace

Ours, so judge accordingly. Figo is not an SEO tool. It does no keyword research, no difficulty scoring, no site audit and no backlinks, so it cannot stand in for KWFinder.

It does track competitors' Google keyword positions and estimated organic traffic each week, as one part of a Monday briefing that also covers their new pages, ads, pricing and reviews. That suits someone who wants to know what rivals are doing, at $49 a month for three competitors. It does not suit someone doing keyword research.

When to stay on Mangools

  • You work alone on a few sites. One seat and weekly rankings are enough.
  • You value a short learning curve. Mangools is the simplest toolset on this page.
  • The budget is fixed. Of the paid tools here, only Ubersuggest's offer and Ahrefs' $29 Starter cost less, and Starter's limits are not published.

Plan limits and the refund terms are in Mangools pricing.

The short answer

Stay on Mangools if you are a one-person operation. Move to Serpstat for cheap team seats, SE Ranking for daily rank tracking at volume, Semrush when SEO becomes the main job, and Ahrefs when links do. Move to Ubersuggest only if the bill matters more than anything else.

Questions people ask

What is KWFinder?

KWFinder is Mangools' keyword research tool and the reason most people sign up. Every Mangools plan bundles it with SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner and SiteProfiler.

Does Mangools have a free trial?

Its pricing page offers a 48 hour money-back guarantee instead. You get a full refund if you ask within 48 hours of paying, though not on two subscriptions in a row.

Is Mangools cheaper than Semrush?

Yes, by a wide margin. Mangools Basic is €37.70 a month billed annually, while Semrush's SEO plan is $117.33 a month billed annually or $139 monthly. Semrush covers much more ground for that money.

What is the best free KWFinder alternative?

Google Keyword Planner is free inside a Google Ads account and gives search volume estimates, though it is built for advertisers and has no ranking difficulty score. Semrush's free plan allows 10 reports a day.
