Agency rank tracking: tools that scale with clients
Agency rank tracking compared: AccuRanker, Advanced Web Ranking, SE Ranking, Nightwatch, Wincher and AgencyAnalytics on seats, white label and cost at scale.
Agency rank tracking is a different buying decision from tracking one site. You need many projects, logins for staff and often for clients, reports that carry your brand, and a price that does not jump every time you sign a client. The best tools for agencies are the ones that charge for keywords rather than seats.
Short answer: AccuRanker and Advanced Web Ranking are the specialists with unlimited users, SE Ranking with its Agency Pack is the best value all-in-one, Nightwatch includes the most for a mid-range price, and AgencyAnalytics is the pick when the client report is the product.
What an agency needs that a single site does not
Keywords priced, not seats. Agencies add staff and clients constantly. A per-seat tool makes every new hire a pricing decision.
Projects, plural. Some plans cap the number of sites or projects well below the keyword allowance. Check both numbers.
Client access. A login, a shared link or a portal, so clients stop emailing for screenshots.
White label. Reports and portals with your logo instead of the vendor's. Some tools include it, some charge for it, some only offer it on annual billing.
Honest unit definitions. Not every "keyword" is the same unit. Advanced Web Ranking counts one keyword checked weekly as one unit, so a keyword checked daily uses seven.

The tools
AccuRanker
AccuRanker sells by keyword volume and includes unlimited users on every plan. Professional, which it describes as "Ideal for freelancers, consultants, and small agencies", is $249 a month for 2,000 keywords, or $224 billed annually, and rises to $609 a month for 5,000. Expert, "Designed for growing agencies", starts at $849 a month for 10,000 keywords and adds dynamic tagging and an unlimited read API.
Best at: agencies where the rank data itself is the deliverable, with many staff in the tool.
Limits: it is rank tracking only. Its pricing page does not mention white label reporting, so ask before you buy if branded reports are a requirement.
Advanced Web Ranking
AWR includes unlimited users and projects on every plan. Pro is $139 a month for 7,000 keyword units, Agency $279 for 14,500, Enterprise $699 for 35,500. Annual billing saves 10%. White label reports on your own domain are "available in the Agency plan or higher and for all yearly subscriptions", and the Agency plan adds API access and one hour on-demand updates.
Best at: agencies with mixed needs, because update frequency is set per project. Track a launch daily and a steady client weekly, and pay accordingly.
Limits: the unit maths. A keyword tracked daily on desktop and mobile in two cities uses 28 units, so 7,000 units shrinks quickly.
SE Ranking with the Agency Pack
Growth is $279 a month, or $223.20 billed annually, for 30 projects, 3 manager seats and 5,000 keywords tracked daily, plus site audits of up to 2 million pages a month. The Agency Pack adds $69 a month, annual billing only, for 30 client seats, white label for the platform and reports, unlimited scheduled reports and a lead generation widget.
Best at: agencies that want rank tracking, audits and research in one subscription, with client logins included.
Limits: the Agency Pack is not available on monthly billing, and extra manager seats cost more.
Nightwatch
Professional is €159 a month billed annually (€1,908 a year) for 2,500 keywords tracked daily across 25 websites, with white label reports, unlimited user seats, Looker Studio and API access. Agency is €399 a month billed annually for 7,500 keywords and 100 websites, with a dedicated account manager. The trial is 14 days with no card.
Best at: agencies with 10 to 50 client sites who want branded reports and unlimited seats without enterprise pricing.
Limits: euro pricing, and the published prices are annual.
Wincher
Standard is $89 a month from 1,000 keywords, with unlimited websites, multiple users, white-labelled reports, on-demand updates and API access. Professional at $319 a month from 5,000 keywords adds external users, project permissions and a key account manager. Wincher's page did not make clear whether those prices are the monthly or annual rate.
Best at: a small agency's first proper rank tracker.
Limits: client logins (external users) only arrive on Professional.
AgencyAnalytics
AgencyAnalytics is reporting software first. It charges $20 per client a month billed annually, with unlimited staff accounts, 85 or more integrations and a white-labelled client portal on your own domain. Rank tracking is an add-on at $41.67 a month per 500 keywords, billed annually, covering desktop, mobile, local and international rankings.
Best at: agencies whose clients want one branded dashboard for SEO, ads, social and email, with rankings as one panel.
Limits: the rank tracking is less deep than the specialists, and the cost climbs with both clients and keywords.
SpyFu Team/Agency
$249 a month, or $187 billed annually, for unlimited projects, 50,000 keywords tracked weekly and five users. White label reporting starts on the Pro + AI plan.
Best at: agencies that need to track very large keyword sets and are happy with weekly data.
Limits: weekly only.
What it costs for a real roster
Say you run a hypothetical agency with 12 clients, each with 150 keywords tracked daily on desktop in one location: 1,800 keywords. Here is the cheapest plan on each tool that fits, from published prices. This is our arithmetic, not vendor quotes.
| Tool | Plan that fits | Monthly cost | Branded reports included |
|---|---|---|---|
| AccuRanker | Professional, 2,000 keywords | $249 ($224 annual) | Not stated |
| Advanced Web Ranking | Agency, 12,600 of 14,500 units | $279 | Yes |
| SE Ranking | Growth (12 projects is over Core's 10) plus Agency Pack | $292.20 on annual billing | Yes |
| Nightwatch | Professional, 2,500 keywords | €159 on annual billing | Yes |
| AgencyAnalytics | 12 clients plus 2,000 keywords of rank add-on | $406.68 on annual billing | Yes |
The ranking shifts with your shape. More clients with fewer keywords each favours per-keyword tools; fewer clients who want a full reporting portal favour AgencyAnalytics.
For what goes into the client report around those numbers, see agency client reporting.
Where competitor monitoring fits
Ours, so judge accordingly. Figo is not a rank tracker and does not belong in the table above. It checks each client's competitors once a week and records their Google keyword positions alongside their new ads, pages, pricing, social posts and reviews, then writes a Monday briefing. The Agency plan is $249 a month for 20 competitors across 5 client workspaces.
Do not pick Figo to report your clients' own rankings. Use one of the trackers above for that, and add a monitor only if clients also ask what their competitors are doing. The competitor analysis tools for agencies page covers that side.

Questions people ask
What is white label rank tracking?
Rank reports, and sometimes a client login, that show your agency's branding instead of the vendor's, often on your own domain. Clients see your logo and never the tool's name.
Which rank trackers include unlimited users?
AccuRanker and Advanced Web Ranking include unlimited users on every plan, Nightwatch from its Professional plan, and AgencyAnalytics includes unlimited staff accounts because it charges per client instead.
How do agencies give clients access to rankings?
Four ways, depending on the tool. Client seats inside the platform, as in SE Ranking's Agency Pack; external users, as on Wincher Professional; shareable report links; or a branded client portal, as in AgencyAnalytics.
Should an agency track clients daily or weekly?
Daily for clients in an active campaign or migration, weekly for everyone else. Advanced Web Ranking lets you set daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly updates, which is the cheapest way to mix the two.
