The best Socialinsider alternatives in 2026
Socialinsider starts at $990 a year for 20 social accounts and 3 months of history. These Socialinsider alternatives cost less, keep more history or see more.
Socialinsider alternatives are worth comparing if you hit its account limits, need more than 3 months of history without paying for the top plan, or want competitors' social activity next to everything else they do. Socialinsider itself is good value for social benchmarking, so be clear which limit you are solving before you switch.
Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026.
How Socialinsider prices
The big numbers on Socialinsider's pricing page are yearly prices shown per month. Paying yearly gets you "2 months off".
| Plan | Billed yearly | Shown per month | Social accounts | History | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adapt | $990 | $82 | 20 | 3 months | 1 |
| Optimize | $1,490 | $124 | 30 | 6 months | 2 |
| Predict | $2,390 | $199 | 40 | 12 months | 5 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
The page also shows struck-through yearly totals of $1,188, $1,788 and $2,868, which suggests monthly billing of about $99, $149 and $239. That is arithmetic, not a figure the page labels as monthly, so confirm it at checkout.
Add-ons: $6 a month per extra profile, $2 per profile to reset monthly replacements, $15 a month per extra team member, and $100 a month each for API access and Looker Studio access. Competitor benchmarking is in every plan, and the trial is 14 days with no card.
Why people look for a Socialinsider alternative
Accounts run out. Socialinsider counts profiles one by one; its own example is that 3 Instagram accounts and 6 TikTok accounts count as 9. You plus four competitors on four networks is 20 profiles, the whole Adapt allowance.
History is short on the entry plan. 3 months on Adapt. A year-on-year view needs Predict.
Add-ons add up. Agencies that report from their own dashboards pay $100 a month for Looker Studio access on top of the plan.
One seat on Adapt. A second person is $15 a month extra, or the move to Optimize.
It only sees social. It will show that a competitor's engagement doubled. It will not show the TikTok ad campaign or the new landing page that explains it.

Rival IQ, for more depth
Rival IQ's Drive plan is $239 a month for 10 companies, 6 months of history and 1 user; Engage is $349 for 20 companies, 12 months and 2 users. Annual billing saves 15%. It tracks companies rather than individual profiles, with one handle per network for each, and emails you when a tracked company has a breakout post. 14 day trial, no card. Our Rival IQ alternatives page covers its own limits.
Pick Rival IQ if you need more history and company-level tracking, and the budget stretches to roughly three times Socialinsider's entry price.
Metricool, the budget route
Free for 1 brand with 5 competitor profiles and 30 days of analytics. Starter is $20 a month billed yearly ($25 monthly) for 5 brands, up to 100 competitors and unlimited analytics history. It also schedules posts.
Pick Metricool if history length is why you are leaving and money is tight.
Later, for Instagram-first brands
Later's competitive benchmarking (follower growth, engagement and posting trends for up to 20 competitors) is on its Scale plan, $82.50 a month billed yearly. Later's own FAQ frames it around Instagram, and Starter and Growth do not include it.
Pick Later if Instagram is the network that matters and you want a scheduler in the same tool.
Hootsuite and Sprout Social, the suites
Hootsuite Standard ($99 per user a month, billed annually) benchmarks against 5 competitors, and Professional ($199) against 20. Sprout Social's Facebook, X and Instagram competitor reports start on Professional at $299 per seat a month billed annually. Both make sense only if you also want the publishing suite.
Pick a suite if you were going to buy a scheduler anyway and benchmarking is a secondary need.
Social Blade, free public numbers
Social Blade tracks public follower and view counts for YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Facebook and Instagram. The free account gives 5 favourites per platform and a short window of daily data; Bronze is $59.99 a year. It is a stats tracker, not a benchmarking tool, but it answers "is their following growing?" for nothing.
Pick Social Blade if follower counts are all you report on.
Figo, when social is one channel of several
Ours, so judge accordingly. Figo reads competitors' Instagram and Facebook posts once a week and puts them in a Monday briefing with their new Google, Meta and TikTok ads, page and pricing changes, rankings, reviews and the Reddit threads that mention them. $49 a month for 3 competitors, $99 for 8, $249 for 20 across 5 client workspaces. There is no free plan; the 7 day trial of Starter needs no card.
What it does not do: engagement-rate benchmarks, TikTok, LinkedIn, X or YouTube posts, industry benchmark reports, or historical social dashboards. If those are your deliverables, Socialinsider is the better tool, and Figo would sit beside it rather than replace it. The Figo vs Rival IQ comparison sets out the same split against Rival IQ.
Pick Figo if you want competitors' Instagram and Facebook posts in the same weekly read as their ads, pages and reviews.
Picking one
Stay on Socialinsider if none of the limits above has bitten. For most social teams it is fair value.
Move to Rival IQ for more history and alerts, Metricool for price, Later for Instagram plus scheduling, Figo if social numbers were never the whole question.
For the manual version that costs nothing, our guide to monitoring competitor social media and the social media competitor analysis template get you most of the way.
