Rival IQ is social media analytics built around competitors. It tracks companies across Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, compares their social performance with yours, detects boosted posts and emails you when a rival posts something that performs. For a social media team, that depth is hard to match at its price.

Figo vs Rival IQ is depth on social against breadth across a competitor's whole marketing. Figo reads Instagram, Facebook and Reddit, but most of what it reports sits elsewhere: ads on Google, Meta and TikTok, new and edited pages, pricing, Google rankings and reviews. If social is your job, Rival IQ is the better tool. If social is one of several channels you need to watch, the comparison is closer.

Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026.

Where Rival IQ is better

More networks. X, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn as well as Facebook and Instagram. Figo covers none of the first four for organic posts. If your competitors live on TikTok or LinkedIn, that settles it.

Engagement analytics. Social benchmarking, post analysis, hashtag analysis and a custom chart builder, all measured against the companies you track. Figo lists each post with its likes; it does not calculate engagement rates or compare them.

Paid social signals. Boosted post detection tells you which organic posts a rival put money behind. Figo shows Meta ads from the ad library but does not flag boosted posts.

Reporting. Scheduled exports, custom reports and branding options that suit an agency sending monthly social reports. Figo's client report link carries your agency's logo on the Agency plan, but it is a weekly change report, not a social performance deck.

More companies per plan. Drive tracks 10 companies, Engage 20 and Engage Pro 40, with 5 more available for $50 a month. Extra users are $10 a month each.

Where Figo is better

Everything off social. Google, Meta and TikTok ads with creatives and landing pages, new pages and blog posts, page edits with the before and after wording, the pricing page read as plans and prices, Google rankings with estimated traffic, and Google and Trustpilot reviews. Rival IQ's pricing page does not list website, search or review tracking among its features.

Reddit. Threads that mention each competitor, with a language model throwing out the ones that are not really about them.

A written answer. Rival IQ gives you dashboards and charts to read. Figo's Monday briefing says what changed across every channel, links the evidence and ends with one thing to do. See a sample briefing.

Price for a short list. If you only watch three rivals, Figo Starter is $49 a month against $239 for Rival IQ's entry plan.

Rival IQ counts your own brand among its tracked companies; Figo tracks your own website without using a slot. Per company is a rough guide only, because the two tools track different things. Rival IQ's annual billing takes 15% off its figures; Figo bills monthly. Full plan details are on Figo's pricing page.

The short answer

Pick Rival IQ if you run social media, you need engagement benchmarks across six networks, you report social performance to clients, or your competitors are most active on TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn or X. Rival IQ alternatives covers the other social analytics tools.

Pick Figo if social is one channel among several and you want one weekly view of what rivals changed in their ads, websites, prices, search rankings, reviews and Instagram and Facebook posts.

Do not pick Figo if you need organic TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn or X tracking, engagement rate benchmarks, boosted post detection or social listening. Figo has none of them.

Use both if your social team needs depth and the rest of marketing needs the wider picture. If you want to do the social half by hand first, monitoring competitor social media and the Instagram competitor analysis guide show the free routine.
