The best ChangeTower alternatives in 2026

ChangeTower starts at $12 a month, but element selection, Slack and new-page scanning sit on higher tiers. Here are ChangeTower alternatives, with prices.

ChangeTower alternatives are worth comparing when the feature you need sits on a ChangeTower tier above the one you pay for. The entry price is low, $12 a month or $10 billed annually, but the things that make a monitor quiet and useful (watching one element, Slack alerts, longer history, finding new pages) arrive on Business or Enterprise.

Prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026.

Annual billing takes 20% off: $10, $29 and $62 a month. Every plan, the free one included, gets AI monitoring, content change detection, keyword tracking, visual screenshots and email alerts.

Why people move on from ChangeTower

Noise on the lower tiers. Without element selection, a whole-page monitor fires on rotating testimonials, cookie banners and dates. You can only narrow a monitor to one element from $78 a month.

Alerts stuck in email. Teams that work in Slack want alerts there. That is a Business feature.

Daily checks on Lite. Fine for a competitor's pricing page. Not fine for stock, ticket or tender pages that change within the day.

Short memory. 30 days of history on Lite means you cannot look back at last quarter's version of a page.

New pages cost Enterprise. Domain scanning is Enterprise only, so on self-serve plans a competitor's new landing page goes unseen unless you already added its URL.

A card for the trial. The 5 day paid trial charges automatically when it ends.

Distill, for element-level control

Distill's visual selector lets you pick the exact part of a page to watch. Starter is $15 a month ($12 yearly) for 50 monitors checked as often as every 10 minutes, and the free plan gives 25 monitors, 5 of them in the cloud. Its local monitors run in your browser and can watch password-protected pages, but they stop when the browser closes. See Distill alternatives for the rest of its trade-offs.

Pick Distill if noise is your main complaint and you are comfortable with a technical tool.

Visualping, the polished middle

Free for 5 pages. Personal 1K is $14 monthly or $10 a month billed yearly for 10 pages, checked as often as every 15 minutes. Business 20K at $140 monthly ($100 yearly) gives 200 pages and 5 users, the same page count as ChangeTower Business at a higher price. Our Visualping alternatives page covers when it is worth it.

Pick Visualping if you watch fewer than 40 pages and want the simplest setup.

PageCrawl, the closest swap with discovery

Free for 6 pages. Standard is $16 monthly ($13.33 yearly) with checks every 15 minutes; the $30 tier ($25 yearly) gives 500 pages, 4 users and 2 workspaces. It can track new pages on a site "as soon as they are published" using a template, supports logins, and attaches an AI summary to each alert. Slack, Teams, Discord and webhooks are among its alert channels, so check which tier includes the one you need.

Pick PageCrawl if you want new-page discovery without an Enterprise contract.

Wachete, the cheapest

Starter is $5.40 a month for 50 pages checked every 60 minutes; Standard is $10.90 for 100 pages every 10 minutes. Wachete lists Slack, Teams, Discord and Telegram among its alert channels and works on pages that need a login. Its yearly prices did not display when we read the page.

Pick Wachete if you watch many pages and price decides it.

Hexowatch and Stillio, for specialist jobs

Hexowatch (Pro $29, or $24.17 a month billed yearly) watches sitemaps, technology stacks, source code and availability as well as content, which suits anyone tracking how a site changes structurally.

Pick Hexowatch if you want sitemap or tech-stack alerts without paying for ChangeTower Enterprise.

Stillio archives screenshots rather than diffing pages. Snap Shot is $29 a month for up to 5 pages, and screenshots are kept for 36 months while you subscribe. If history is why you left, that is the fix. For occasional look-backs, the free Wayback Machine may be enough; our list of Wayback Machine alternatives covers the gaps.

Pick Stillio if you need a dated visual record of pages, for disputes, compliance or your own records.

Figo, for competitor sites

Ours, so judge accordingly. If most of your ChangeTower pages belong to competitors, Figo is built for that. It reads each competitor's sitemap and pages once a week, so new pages and blog posts appear without you adding URLs, and it tracks their published pricing and offers. The same weekly check covers their Google, Meta and TikTok ads, rankings, Instagram and Facebook posts and reviews, written up in a Monday briefing. $49 a month for 3 competitors, $99 for 8, $249 for 20 across 5 client workspaces.

It does not monitor arbitrary pages, watch single elements, run more than once a week or keep a screenshot archive. For a supplier's stock page or a regulator's notices, keep ChangeTower or one of the tools above.

Pick Figo if your monitored pages are mostly competitors' and the new pages you are missing worry you more than the speed of alerts.

The short answer

ChangeTower Lite is a fair deal for 25 pages checked daily. If you need element selection or Slack, compare its $78 Business plan with Distill and PageCrawl before upgrading. If you need new pages found, PageCrawl is the cheapest self-serve route, and our guide on how to find all pages on a website shows the free manual check. Questions people ask

How much does ChangeTower cost?

Lite is $12 a month, Essential $36 and Business $78, or $10, $29 and $62 a month billed annually. A free plan covers 3 pages checked daily, and Enterprise is priced on page count.

Does ChangeTower have a free trial?

Each paid plan has a 5 day trial, but it needs a card and charges automatically when the 5 days end. The free plan needs no card.

Can ChangeTower find new pages on a website?
