Adbeat alternatives in 2026

Adbeat is $249 a month for display ad intelligence. Here is what it covers, what it does not, and which alternatives make sense at which budget.

Adbeat sits in a specific niche: programmatic and native display advertising. If your question is which publishers a competitor is buying on, which networks they run through and roughly what they spend on display, it is one of a small number of tools that can answer it.

If your question is broader than display, you are probably overpaying.

What you get for that

Publisher placements. Where a competitor's display ads actually appeared, across a large sample of sites.

Networks and exchanges. Which demand sources they buy through, which is genuinely hard to find elsewhere.

Estimated spend. Modelled, like every spend estimate in this category. Directional, not accounting.

Creative history. Ad units over time with first and last seen dates.

Native ads. Taboola and Outbrain style placements, which most tools ignore entirely.

The honest caveats

Everything is a sample. Adbeat sees what its panel and crawlers see. A campaign on publishers outside that sample is invisible.

Spend is modelled. No third party tool knows what anyone actually spent. Treat every dollar figure as a relative signal.

It is a research tool, not a monitor. You open it and look. It does not sit there and tell you a competitor launched something.

Display only. Search ads, Meta, TikTok, organic, content and product changes are all outside its scope.

The alternatives by budget

Free

The official ad libraries. Google Ads Transparency Center shows every ad a verified advertiser runs in search, display and YouTube, with date ranges. The Meta Ad Library shows every active Facebook and Instagram ad. The TikTok Commercial Content Library covers TikTok. All free, all official, all more authoritative than any third party estimate for the networks they cover.

What they do not cover is programmatic display placements and spend, which is exactly Adbeat's reason to exist.

Cheap

SpyFu at $39 for the first month then $119 a month is paid search focused, with long history. Different channel, much lower price.

Competitors App at $14.90 a month covers change detection and email rather than ads.

Mid

Semrush at $139 a month upward includes advertising research alongside its organic tools. Broader, shallower on display.

Figo at $49 a month for three competitors, $99 for eight, checks the Google, Meta and TikTok libraries weekly and reports what started and stopped, alongside rankings, pages, content, social, reviews and AI answers. It does not cover programmatic display placements.

Enterprise

Pathmatics and similar cover display and social at enterprise prices with no published rates.

Choosing

Buy Adbeat if display and native are a real part of your competitive picture and you have the budget. Nothing cheap does what it does.

Use the free libraries if your competitors advertise on search, Meta and TikTok, which covers most businesses under a certain size. You will get better data than any estimate, for nothing.

Buy a monitoring tool if the problem is not finding ads once but knowing when they change. Adbeat is excellent at the first and not built for the second.

A practical combination: free libraries for the networks they cover, a monitoring tool to watch them weekly, and Adbeat added only if programmatic display turns out to matter.

Questions people ask

What does Adbeat cost?

Standard is $249 a month and Advanced is $399 a month, read from adbeat.com on 19 September 2026. Enterprise pricing is not published.

Is there a free way to see competitor ads?

Yes, for some networks. The Google Ads Transparency Center, the Meta Ad Library and the TikTok Commercial Content Library are all free and official. They cover search, social and video, not programmatic display.

What does Adbeat cover that free tools do not?

Programmatic and native display across a large publisher sample, with estimated spend, placements and networks. The free libraries do not cover that at all.

Does Adbeat alert me when a competitor starts a new campaign?

It is built for research sessions rather than monitoring. You go and look. Tools built for monitoring push the change to you.
