Similarweb costs $199 to $649 a month billed monthly, or $125 to $542 a month billed annually, for its three self-serve Web Intelligence plans. Each is for one user. Business and enterprise plans are quote-only, through a sales conversation.

Prices below were read from similarweb.com/pricing on 4 October 2026. The self-serve plan cards did not render for us, so the figures come from the product and offer data Similarweb publishes in that page's own source code. Confirm them at checkout before you rely on them.

Similarweb pricing: what is public

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing (per month)What you get
Free on similarweb.com$0$0A high-level sample per site, with limited features and no deeper drill downs
Competitive Intelligence$199$1251 user, 3 months of history: traffic and engagement, demographics, marketing channels, competitor alerts
Competitive Intel & SEO & AEO$399$3331 user, 6 months of history: adds organic search, keyword research, rank tracker, site audit, backlinks, AI brand visibility
Competitive Intel, SEO & AEO & Ads$649$5421 user, 6 months of history: adds search, display and social ad insights and ad spend data
Business and enterpriseQuote onlyQuote onlyChoice of suites, up to 37 months of history, 100+ countries, API, data feeds, single sign-on

Two limits matter more than the tier names. Every self-serve plan is for one user, and the plan cards say the first two tiers show a worldwide view that cannot be filtered to a single country. If you sell in one market, that second point decides more than the price does.

The free version and the trial

The free data on similarweb.com gives you a sample, enough for a rough comparison of two sites. Similarweb describes it as "a high-level sample" with "a limited set of features without deeper drill downs".

The pricing page also says you can start a free trial, and its offer data says a free trial is available on the self-service plans. It does not say how long the trial lasts or whether a card is needed, so check both before you start.

Self-serve or business: where the line falls

The self-serve plans run from $125 to $542 a month billed annually. They are for one user each, and you cancel them yourself inside the platform. To switch an existing plan to annual billing, the page says to email support.

Business packages are built from suites: Competitive Intel, Strategic SEO, Ads Intel and Gen AI Intel. They add up to 37 months of history, data for more than 100 countries, an API, data feeds and single sign-on. Cancellation follows your contract rather than a button.

The practical question is whether you need history and breadth. A marketer checking three rivals a month can live on self-serve. A strategy team presenting market share by country to a board is buying the business plan whether it likes the price or not.

How to estimate and negotiate a quote

With no list price, your preparation decides the number. These steps follow the dimensions the pricing page itself uses.

  1. Pick the suite you need. Business plans are built from Competitive Intel, Strategic SEO, Ads Intel and Gen AI Intel. Adding a second suite because the demo was persuasive is the easiest way to inflate a quote.
  2. Decide how far back you need to look. Up to 37 months is available. If you only need the last year, say so.
  3. Name your countries. "More than 100" is the ceiling, not the requirement.
  4. Count real users. Seats people never open are the hardest cost to claw back at renewal.
  5. Get the contract terms in writing. Length, auto-renewal, the notice period for cancelling and any cap on price rises at renewal.
  6. Test on self-serve first. A month of the entry plan, $199 billed monthly, tells you whether the estimates are usable for sites your size before you commit to a year.

Why the gap matters is covered in how accurate traffic estimates are.

Cheaper ways to do the same job

The Similarweb alternatives page compares the main options. In short:

  • Search traffic only. SEO suites estimate organic search traffic per domain. Semrush starts at $139 a month billed monthly and sells a separate Traffic & Market toolkit. Semrush vs Similarweb sets out what each estimates.
  • A one-off check. The free sample plus the methods in how to check competitor website traffic cover most one-off questions without a subscription.
  • Ongoing watching. Figo reports each competitor's estimated organic traffic and keyword positions every week, alongside their new pages, ads and reviews, at $49 a month for three competitors or $99 for eight. Ours, so judge accordingly. Its traffic figures are estimates from search data, not real visits, and it has none of Similarweb's audience, referral or app data. Figo vs Similarweb covers the split.

Is Similarweb worth it?

At $199 for a single month of the entry plan, it is worth a month to answer a specific question about where competitors' traffic comes from. The business plans are worth it when market share by channel and country is something you report upward. If you just want to know whether a rival's traffic is rising, a cheaper estimate and your own judgement will do.

Questions people ask

Is Similarweb free?

Partly. The free data on similarweb.com is what Similarweb calls a high-level sample, with a limited set of features and no deeper drill downs. Anything more needs a paid plan.

Can I cancel Similarweb at any time?

The self-serve plan for entrepreneurs is cancelled inside the platform. Business plans follow the terms in your contract, so read the renewal and notice clauses before you sign.

Does Similarweb sell an API?

Yes, through sales. The pricing page says the API is part of custom Business packages and can also be bought on its own. No API price is published.

How accurate is Similarweb traffic data?

It is a modelled estimate, not a copy of the site's own analytics. Use it to compare sites and spot trends rather than to quote exact visit numbers.
