AdSpy alternatives are worth a look for three reasons: AdSpy only covers Facebook and Instagram, it has one price with no cheaper tier, and the free Meta Ad Library already shows every active Meta ad. Which alternative fits depends on whether you need more networks, a lower price, or just a reliable way to watch a few named competitors.

What AdSpy is good at

AdSpy calls itself the "largest searchable database of Facebook and Instagram ads" and claims more than 211.9 million ads across 225 countries and 88 languages. For media buyers and affiliates who search Meta creatives all day, that depth is the product.

Why people look elsewhere

One network family. Facebook and Instagram only. If TikTok or Google matters to you, AdSpy cannot help.

One price. There is no entry tier for someone who searches twice a week, and no annual discount is shown.

Price uncertainty. An introductory offer with no stated end date is awkward for anyone who has to justify the line in next year's budget.

The source is free. Every ad AdSpy indexes ran on Meta, and Meta's own library shows active ads for nothing. If you only look at a handful of advertisers, you may be paying for search you do not use.

Meta Ad Library: free, and the original source

The Meta Ad Library shows every active ad from a Facebook page across Facebook and Instagram, with the creative and the date it started running. It has no engagement sorting, no search across a whole niche, and nothing alerts you when something new appears. For checking known competitors, it is enough.

Pick the library if you can name the pages you care about.
